名称	zerumbone
描述	Zerumbone is a natural monocyclic sesquiterpene first isolated from rhizomes of the wild ginger Z. zerumbet.It has also been shown to have anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory activities, contributing to immunomodulatory and hepatoprotective effects.
动物实验	Mice were pretreated with zerumbone at various concentrations for 30 min followed by intratracheal administration of LPS for 6 h.Pretreatment with zerumbone not only reduced leukocytes infiltration into the alveolar space but also inhibited lung edema in LPS-induced ALI. Decreased secretion of proinflammatory cytokines such as TNFα and IL-6 caused by LPS were reversed by zerumbone.
体内活性	预处理zerumbone不仅减少了白细胞渗透到肺泡空间，也抑制了LPS引起的急性肺损伤(ALI)中的肺水肿。LPS导致的促炎细胞因子如TNFα和IL-6的分泌减少被zerumbone逆转。LPS诱导的促炎介质iNOS和COX-2的表达也被zerumbone抑制。此外，zerumbone还抑制了LPS引发的ALI中NFκB激活和Akt磷酸化。表明zerumbone对内毒素引发的ALI的保护机制是通过抑制Akt-NFκB激活。
