【用途】间苯二胺可用做染料的原料，常见的需要用做原料的染料有：红玉167#，酸性黑210#、兰183。也可以用来做染发剂原料，还可以用作树脂的固化剂、水泥的促凝剂和显色剂。它是间位芳纶的主要原料，间位芳纶(简称PPTA)的纤维强度非常高，比钢丝还要强6倍，而且耐热阻燃，可以用来做轮胎各种管材等。
