CGGRGD is a peptide derived from cysteine as the N-terminal RGD derivative. It is a hexapeptide synthesized through solid-phase peptide synthesis technology. CGGRGD is a characteristic sequence (PCL) of fibronectin that binds to cell surface receptors. Due to its optimal biocompatibility, biodegradability, and thermoplastic properties, it is a popular material in tissue engineering. The surface of PCL fibers is hydrolyzed by amino 2-cyanobenzothiazole, followed by the addition of 2-cyanobenzothiazole (CBT).
