Bactenecin 7 is an antimicrobial peptide that can inhibit the growth of Escherichia coli. The sequence contains 59 amino acids and has a MIC value of 25-200 μ G/ml, Bactenecin 7 has MIC values less than or equal to 200 for Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus epidermidis μ G/ml.
