Adropin (34-76) (human, mouse, rat) is a straight chain peptide composed of 43 amino acids that can regulate fuel selection preferences in skeletal muscle. Adropin can increase insulin induced Akt phosphorylation and GLUT4 cell surface expression in diet induced obesity (DIO) mice.
