Description：β-防御素作为抗菌肽的一种,是一类富含精氨酸的阳离子的环状多肽，序列中含有41个氨基酸，并且带有三对二硫键，广泛分布于动物、植物和昆虫体内。体外抑菌试验表明,防御素能对革兰氏阳性和阴性细菌、真菌、分枝杆菌、螺旋体、披膜病毒等病原微生物产生较强的杀伤作用，甚至对支原体、衣原体、螺旋体以及一些恶性细胞(如肿瘤细胞)和艾滋病病毒也具有杀伤作用。运用基因工程技术表达而大量生产的防御素无毒副作用，也不会使病原微生物菌株变异而产生抗药性,且具有广泛的抗性谱。β-Defensin 2 (human)由41个氨基酸组成，序列中有6个半胱氨酸，并且在自然条件下随机形成二硫键，结构相对稳定。

β- As a kind of antibacterial peptide, defensin is a kind of cyclic peptide rich in arginine cation. It contains 41 amino acids in its sequence and has three pairs of disulfide bonds. It is widely distributed in animals, plants and insects. In vitro bacteriostasis test shows that defensin can have a strong killing effect on gram-positive and negative bacteria, fungi, mycobacteria, spirochetes, drape virus and other pathogenic microorganisms, even against mycoplasma, chlamydia, spirochetes, some malignant cells (such as tumor cells) and AIDS virus. The defensin, which are expressed by genetic engineering technology and produced in large quantities, have no side effects and will not cause the variation of pathogenic microorganism strains to produce drug resistance, and have a broad resistance spectrum. β- Defensin 2 (human) is composed of 41 amino acids, with 6 cysteine in the sequence, and randomly forms disulfide bonds under natural conditions, with a relatively stable structure.
