The sequence of human and mouse is the same, which can stimulate the synthesis and secretion of adrenocorticotropin in the anterior pituitary. CRF increases the excitability of type II dlBNST neurons by activating the AC-cAMP-PKA pathway, thus causing pain-induced aversion.
