Matting agent  M-10

M-10 is a kind of chemical matting agent without wax, which mainly suitable for polyester / epoxy hybrid powder coating system. The characteristic of M-10 is it can  offer the good mechanical property, excellent leveling property, perfect anti-yellowing property and the clear coating effect  in the power coating. Meanwhile, the product consumption significantly reduced, compared to the similar products available on the market, it can reduce costs remarkably.

2.Product application and performance

★M-10 does not react with epoxy, it is pre-mixed with other materials when you use it, it can be squeezed directly. It will have better matting effect if epoxy has a slight excess in the formulations.

★The powder paints and coatings made from the M-10 is smooth and never getting yellow

★The application range of polyester is very widely, It can match the most of the 5:5 and 6:4 polyesters in the market and provide a good matting effect. 

★You can choose to add suitable accelerator / catalyst to improve impact performance, but it may cause the rise of coating surface gloss and the reduce of the leveling performance.

★The powder coatings made of the M-10 have a good storage stability.

★Recommended extrusion temperature: I District 95 ℃, II District 110 ℃; recommended curing condition: 200 ℃ * 12min or 190 ℃ * 15min.

★heavy metal contents of this product conforms to the requirment of EU RoHS standard.

3. Recommended usage

The usage of M-10 is 1-3.1% of the total amount for powder coating formulations, it suitable for 5%@60 degrees above gloss, the more of the usage, the gloss will be lower.

4. Precautions for Use

★Avoid directly contact with the skin and inhaled the product. Tacking the relevant protective measures before using, Such as wearing safety clothing, nursing Eyepiece, protective gloves and dust proof equipment.

★If it gets into eyes, please rinse with water immediately. If the symptom is not eliminate, please seek medical advice.

★Please put the latest MSDS in a conspicuous place, it contains the label, transport, storage, product use, safety and toxicity information etc.

5.Package and storage

The product is packed in polyethylene-lined composite kraft bag, the net weight is 25 kgs per bag.

Sealed, please store in a cool and dry place, far away from heat and fire. Avoid direct sunlight. The reasonable shelf life is at least two years.
