Application and properties

Stannous octoate is one of the main catalysts for the preparation of polyurethanefoams.With an important role in gelation reactions,It is mainly used to prepare polyurethane foam, polyurethane elastomer and polyurethane paint.This product has good catalyticeffect, stable mass, high stannous content and strong antioxidant properties .It is soluble in polyols and almost all kinds of organic

Solvents but insoluble in water. It is readily oxidized in air.

Storage and precautions

As this product is readily oxidized in air, It must be sealed andStored in cool and dry place. Each drum is filled with nitrogen. Once opened, it should be used up as soon as possible and the cover should be tightened during storage.Its shelf life is 12 months. In case of any contact with skin, immediately clean and wash with water and cleanser.
