Function: Luo Han Guo Fruit was first mentioned in the records of 13th century monks in China. It is grown primarily in southwestern China. Luo Han Guo P.E. is a new type and natural sweetener with a low Glycemic Index Value. Our Luo Han Guo P.E. 80% Mogrosides is 300 times sweet as sugar. It is unlike fructose, sucrose or glucose. The sweetness in the Luo Han Guo comes from unique compounds called mogrosides. Mogrosides are different from carbohydrates; thus, Luo Han Guo P.E. does not have the disadvantages associated with carbohydrates.
