Dihydromyricetin (DMY) also known as ampelopsin, is a flavanonol, a type of flavonoid. Sunfull dihydromyricetin is purified from the leaves of Vine Tea (Teng Cha), which is one of a rare typical tea plant in China. The Botanical name of Vine tea is Ampolopsis grossedentata . "The vine tea contains rich flavones, amino acids, vitamins and essential trace element, in which the content of dihydromyricetin is especially high.

Extraction method: ethanol extraction Features: Relative to methanol, high cost, but safe, no solvent residue, no damage to the human body. Solubility: Soluble in hot water, hot ethanol and acetone, soluble in ethanol, methanol, very slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, insoluble in chloroform, petroleum ether. Chemical properties: Studies have shown that dihydromyricetin has good thermal stability, but irreversible oxidation reaction of dihydromyricetin with temperature increase is higher than 100 °C. Dihydromyricetin is stable under neutral and acidic conditions.
The application of dihydromyricetin as a feed additive to improve the quality of meat processing. Dihydromyricetin is extracted by ethanol extraction from the stems and leaves of Snake grape, concentrated and dried to obtain crude flavonoids. The crude flavonoids are then extracted with acetone reflux, concentrated under reduced pressure, crystallized by adding water, and recrystallized again. Dihydromyricetin is directly added as a feed additive to chicken and pig feed, and the accurate content of
dihydromyricetin is determined by high-performance liquid chromatography. Adding 20-75 mg or 50-135 mg of dihydromyricetin per kilogram of broiler and fattening pig feed can significantly increase the tenderness of chicken and pork, reduce the drip loss of chicken and pork, and improve the color of chicken and pork.
Enhance poultry immunity, apply to poultry feed, improve poultry growth, production performance and feed conversion rate
