epoxide is converted into a hydroquinone structure in vivo, involved in
the synthesis of prothrombin (coagulation factor II), and the
γ-carboxylation of glutamate residues at the end of coagulation factors
VII, IX, and X proteins is blocked, resulting in The II, VII, IX, and X
coagulation factor precursors are inactivated, thereby inhibiting the
occurrence of blood coagulation.
3. The action of warfarin sodium depends on the depletion of the
