Urea, pharma grade, serves as a versatile functional raw material widely applied in pharmaceutical preparations and cosmetic formulations. Its core roles cover humectant, keratolytic agent and percutaneous penetration enhancer.
Pharmaceutical Applications (Topical)
It is a well‑accepted active ingredient for the management of hyperkeratotic skin disorders, including keratosis, rhagades of hands and feet, xeroderma and ichthyosis. It can also be used as an adjuvant ingredient to ease pruritus associated with eczema and contact dermatitis. The functional performance varies significantly with concentration:
Low concentration (around 10%): Focuses on long‑term skin moisturization, suitable for daily maintenance of dry, sensitive and flaky skin; it helps restore the hydration balance of the stratum corneum without strong keratolytic effects.
High concentration (20%–40%): Exhibits strong keratolytic activity, capable of softening dense calluses, corns, hyperkeratotic and dystrophic nails. It is widely formulated into keratolytic ointments and nail care preparations for professional exfoliation treatment.

A: For small QTY and low value product, we can provide sample for free exclude shipping cost. For high value sample, we will charge the basic sample cost, but we can refund all the cost if customers place order after sample test.
