Product performance
1. Strong antioxidant capacity: 5-7 times stronger than BHA, BHT, PG, etc.
2. Synergistic effect: When used in combination with other antioxidants (such as BHA, BHt) and chelating agents (such as citric acid), it has synergistic effect.
3. High temperature resistance: can be applied to high-temperature processed foods, such as fried foods, with good thermal stability.
4. Antibacterial effect: It can effectively inhibit the growth of bacteria and molds.
5. Non coloring: There will be no changes in flavor and color due to encountering iron or copper ions during use.
6. Safety: Its acute toxicity level is low.
7. Oil solubility: soluble in animal and plant fats, making it easy to add and use.
Usage
1 Direct method
Heat the oil to 60-70 ° C, add TBHQ in the required proportion, vigorously stir for 10-15 minutes to dissolve it, and then continue stirring (without vigorously stirring to prevent excessive air from entering) for about 20 minutes to ensure even distribution of TBHQ.
2. Seed method
First, completely dissolve TBHQ in a small amount of oil (or 95% alcohol solution), and prepare 5% to 10% TBHQ oil (or alcohol solution). Then, directly or with a measuring device, add it to the fat or oil and stir it to evenly distribute TBHQ.
3. Pumping method
Inject the TBHQ concentrated solution prepared by the seed method into a stable fat or oil pipeline with a fixed flow rate and flow rate through a stainless steel quantitative pump according to the specified proportion. Ensure sufficient turbulence is generated inside the pipeline to evenly distribute TBHQ.
4. Spray impregnation method
Pickled meat products, dried fish products, nuts, etc. can be directly sprayed with diluted TBHQ solution on the surface, or soaked with diluted TBHQ. The concentration of the solution can be formulated according to the requirements of various foods, and generally 0.5g/kgTBHQ alcohol solution (or propylene glycol, vegetable oil) can be used for spraying or impregnation. It is also important to ensure that TBHQ is evenly distributed on the surface of the product.
5. Mixing method
Mix directly with solid ingredients evenly.
Notes:
L must be fully dissolved in oil and fat
Avoid using this product under alkaline conditions
The amount of TBHQ added shall not exceed 0.02% (based on oil content)
TBHQ cannot be mixed with PG (Propyl Gallate) for use
Citric acid can enhance the antioxidant activity of TBHQ
