Tert butyl peroxybenzoate is a low volatility, light yellow transparent liquid and an ester organic peroxide. It is used as a medium temperature initiator for polymerization reaction (such as polystyrene, polyethylene and polyacrylic acid), a curing agent for unsaturated polyester (such as curing of SMC / BMC / DMC resin products), and a curing agent for silicone rubber .
