Main application
1 chemical industry Used for the production of sodium hydrosulfite, sulfadimidine metamizole, caprolactam and the purification of chloroform, phenylpropanone and benzaldehyde. The photographic industry is used as an ingredient of fixing agent. The perfume industry is used to produce vanillin. Used as preservative in brewing industry, rubber coagulant and dechlorination agent after cotton bleaching. Organic intermediates, dyes and tanning are used as reducing agents for electroplating industry, wastewater treatment in oil fields and mineral processing agents in mines.
