Introduction:
Poloxam 188(oloame) is a polyoxyethylene polyoxyethylene propylene ether block copolymer, also known as polyether polyol, trade name luromio. This is a new kind of polymer non-ionic surfactant.
Nature:
The polyoxyethylene content was 81.8+19%. Poloxam is easily soluble in water or ethanol, soluble in anhydrous ethanol, ethyl acetate, chloroform, almost insoluble in ether or petroleum ether, and has a definite foaming property. The pH of 2.5% aqueous solution is between 5.0 and 7.5, and the pH of injection user is between 6.0 and 7.0. The aqueous solution is more stable in air, and the pH value decreases when it meets light. This product is stable to acid-base aqueous solutions and metal ions.

Production method:
Potassium glycerin was heated by potassium hydroxide and glycerin in a polymerizer to produce potassium glycerin. Then, at 90 ~ 95℃ and pressure 0.4 ~ 0.5MPa, propylene oxide was added continuously. After the above reaction, a certain amount of ethylene oxide was added to continue polymerization at the same temperature and pressure <0.3MPa. After the reaction is completed, it is neutralized to neutral with oxalic acid, decolorized with activated carbon, and filtered to obtain Poloxam 188 finished product.
