PEDOT:PSS polymer films are used as charge dissipation layers in electron beam lithography and focused ion beam processing techniques. 

Samples have been reported to be easier and faster to prepare on a variety of substrates, including gallium nitride (GaN), zinc oxide (ZnO), fused silica, lithium niobate (LiNbO3), silicon carbide (SiC) and diamond (C) on sapphire (Al2O3) substrates,[5] spin-coated onto ITO-coated glass substrates. [6] PEDOT:PSS layers have also been reported to be used as anode buffer layers for organic solar cells[2] and as an alternative to transparent conductive coatings for organic solar cells. 

[7] Various studies have reported the use of metal-modified conductive grades of PEDOT:PSS as anode buffer layers for solar cells, e.g., copper phthalocyanine/fullerene-based solar cells [2][3][6] 4 Conductive PEDOT:PSS combined with polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) films can be used to prepare PEDOT:PSS-PVDF ionic liquid soft actuators. 

[8] PEDOT:PSS has been studied as a pseudocapacitive material. 

[9] Almost 100% absorption from 900nm to 2000nm. No maximum absorption from 400nm to 800nm.
