Refined squalane is a colorless, odorless, inert and transparent oily viscous liquid. Slightly soluble in methanol, ethanol, acetone and glacial acetic acid. It is miscible with benzene, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, petroleum ether, ether, mineral oil and other animal and vegetable oils.
