hydrochloride. O-vanillin is also an important starting material for the
synthesis of various apis and fragrances. The reaction with dimethyl
sulfate can produce o-veratrol aldehyde. 2. Used in pharmaceutical and
electroplating industries, it is an electroplating brightener. 3. Used
as fixing agent, coordinating agent and modulator, widely used in
