| O-Phthalaldehyde is a pharmaceutical intermediate, which has been widely used in the determination of aminoalkaloids, fluorometer histamine and pharmaceutical testing. The finished product is light yellow acicular crystal, soluble in water, alcohol, ether and other organic solvents, no bad odor, stable chemical properties. |

2. As pharmaceutical intermediate, it is used to synthesize indobufen which is new anti-platelet aggregation drug.
