It is also widely used as a coating additive, preservative for synthetic detergents, anticoagulant, lubricant additive, intermediate for synthetic dyes, stabilizer for polymer materials, plant growth regulator, anti discoloration agent, vapor phase inhibitor, and UV absorber.
