N-Isopropylacrylamide Form crystalline powder or crystal color white to light yellow to light orange.

N-Isopropylacrylamide N-isopropylacrylamide is a monomer of acrylamide derivatives. Due to the presence of hydrophilic amide group and hydrophobic isopropyl group in the molecule, its homopolymer has good characteristics such as low critical dissolution temperature and so on. It is mainly used in the manufacture of temperature-sensitive polymer gels, such as: controlled release materials for drugs, solid materials for enzymes, dehydrating agents, concentrating agents, etc. It can also be used to manufacture denatured Chemicalbook latex, special coatings, adhesives and so on. N-isopropylacrylamide is used to prepare poly (N-isopropylacrylamide) (pNIPA, pNIPAAm, pNIPAm) heat sensitive polymers or copolymer hydrogels. Polymers containing NIPAM shrink sharply at temperatures above 33°C. The monomer is used to prepare heat-sensitive, water-expandable hydrogels.
