Methyl decanoate is clear colorless liquid.
Methyl decanoate is a large methyl ester that is considered as an alternative to unsaturated biodiesel fuel. It can also be used as a seasoning and spice ingredient. Methyl caprate is used as an intermediate in caproic acid, washing Chemicalbook scrubber, emulsifier, wetting agent, stabilizer, resin, lubricant, plasticizer and fragrance. Used as a chemical intermediate for alkanolamides, fatty alcohols and fatty acids.
