preparation
Metenolone was mixed with acetic anhydride in a dry reaction flask, then pyridine was slowly added to the reaction mixture as an acid-binding agent and reaction solvent, and the resulting reaction mixture was vigorously stirred at room temperature. The reaction progress was monitored by TLC plates or gas chromatography, and the reaction mixture was slowly poured into the ice-water mixture after the complete reaction of the raw material metenolone was completed. The reaction system was extracted with organic solvent for several times, and all organic layers were combined and dried on anhydrous sodium sulfate. The desiccant was filtered out and the filtrate obtained was concentrated under vacuum to remove the volatile organic solvent. The residue obtained was separated and purified by silica gel column chromatography to obtain metinolone acetate.
