Storage conditions
1. Seal and store.
2. Pack with a woven bag lined with plastic lining, with a net weight of 25kg. Store and transport according to general chemical regulations.
Stability
1. Stable at room temperature and pressure.
Prohibited substances: alkali, oxidant, reducing agent.
2. Low toxicity. Irritating to the skin and mucous membranes, but not as severe as oxalic acid. The oral LD50 for mice is 1.54g/kg. Special protection is generally not required during the production of malonic acid, but cyanoacetic acid and sodium cyanide are both highly toxic substances. Therefore, special care must be taken when handling compounds containing cyanide groups. Protective gear must be worn, and corresponding safety measures must be formulated.
