L-5-MTHF-Ca (5-mthf) is a naturally occurring salt-forming methyl derivative of folic acid. 5-mthf is also known as levomethyl-folate, which is the most biologically active and functional of folic acid. Form, more easily absorbed than ordinary folic acid.
