Application
Hinokitiol, also known as hinokiol, is a natural compound of monoterpenoid with epophenone skeleton extracted from the trunk of Taiwan hinokiol by Japanese scientist Anderson in 1948. It is a trophenone compound, which has good antibacterial, moisturizing and pest repellent effect. It is a plant component with high safety, and can be used as an antibacterial and pest control agent. It is the main component of Taiwan Cypress essential oil. It has a wide range of biological activities and strong bactericidal ability. The smell is fragrant and the effect is good, can kill bacteria and microbacteria in the air, prevent pests from harming the human body, inhibit human pathogenic bacteria, and has been used in the production of shower gel, cosmetics, medicine and other products. Hinokitiol has a surprising effect on the inhibition of Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). The bacteria often exist in human skin and respiratory tract, causing septicemia, peritonitis, food poisoning and skin infections such as boils and abscess.
