Genistein is one of several known isoflavones. Isoflavones, such as genistein and daidzein, are found in a number of plants
including lupin, fava beans, soybeans, kudzu, and psoralea being the primary food source.
Insen supply Genistein soluble in DMSO and ethanol, but almost insoluble in water. Its solubility in water is 8.7 μg/ml. Changing
the pH of the solution has no obvious effect on genistein.
