English name: Hydroxyl terminated polybutadiene (HTPB)
Chinese alias: Hydroxybutadiene rubber
CAS RN: 69102-90-5
Product Profile
Hydroxyl terminated polybutadiene is a liquid telechelic polymer and a new type of liquid rubber. It can react with chain extenders and crosslinking agents at room temperature or high temperature to form a cured product with a three-dimensional network structure. This cured material has excellent mechanical properties, particularly resistance to hydrolysis, acid and alkali, wear resistance, low temperature resistance, and excellent electrical insulation.
Structural formula:
Product Usage:
Hydroxybutadiene rubber has good transparency, low viscosity, aging resistance, good low-temperature performance and processability. Hydroxybutadiene rubber can be used to produce casting type elastomers, which are used as structural materials for automotive and aircraft tires, building materials, footwear materials, rubber products, insulation materials, coatings, adhesives, sealing materials, electrical insulation materials, waterproof and anti-corrosion materials, sports runways, wear-resistant transport belts, rubber and epoxy resin modification, and other purposes.
Safety instructions
Hydroxyl terminated polybutadiene slowly oxidizes when exposed to air, polymerizes at high temperatures, and burns when exposed to strong oxidants.
packing of products
50L closed polyethylene white plastic drum packaging, with a drum mouth diameter of no less than 100mm and a net weight of 50 kilograms per drum.
Storage method
Store in a cool and ventilated place with a closed seal, and the storage temperature range should be (-20~38) ℃. The shelf life is 12 months, and it can still be used after passing the retest.
Product transportation
During transportation, it is necessary to avoid rain, dampness, and exposure to direct sunlight. It should not be mixed with strong oxidants.
