Dermorphin, a peptide isolated from the skin and peptide receptor (NOP) components of Phyllomedusa frog by the endogenous agonist nociceptin/orphanin FQ(N/OFQ). In the permutation binding study of CHOhMu,Dermorphin and DeNo substitute the [3H] -DPN binding in a concentration-dependent and saturable manner. Dermorphin exhibits an affinity of 7.17, and N/OFQ cannot replace the [3H] -DPN of the Delta receptor. Dermorphin and DeNo stimulate the binding of GTP-γ [35S] to the Mu receptor in a concentration-dependent and saturable manner
