Production method
Using capric acid as raw material and silica gel as catalyst, decanitrile was obtained by reaction with ammonia at 380-400℃,
and refined decanitrile was obtained by washing, delamination, drying and rectification. Then, with nickelal as catalyst, hydrogenation at 80℃,1.96MPa pressure, until no hydrogen absorption, increase the pressure to 2.35MPa, maintain the reaction for 3h, release the mixture after cooling, filter the catalyst, fractionation, collection of 199-221℃ fractions, can obtain decylamine and by-product didecylamine, and a small amount of triedecylamine.
Use
It is used in organic synthesis and also as a solvent.
