HX-878 Parameter Product Usage
HX-878 is a nitroamine specific bonding agent. In addition, the hydroxyl groups in the molecular structure of HX-878's multi nitrile hydroxylamine polymer can enter the cross-linking network through chemical bonding with hydroxylated butadiene rubber, and multiple nitrile groups in the molecular structure can generate strong physical adsorption with the surface of nitroamine oxidant particles. Used as a bonding agent for nitramine or nitramine modified hydroxylamine solid propellants, it can significantly improve the mechanical properties of propellants. HX-878 can also be used in combination with other bonding agents for bonding of hydroxybutyric acid/ammonium perchlorate composite solid propellants.
Safety instructions
The bonding agent HX-878 is a polynitrile hydroxylamine polymer that is toxic. Synthetic rubber gloves should be worn during operation to prevent skin contact.
