Curcumin is a bright yellow chemical produced by some plants. It is the principal curcuminoid of turmeric, which is a member of the ginger family (Zingiberaceae).
APPLICATION
C 2735 (OTTO) Curcumine, 99% Cas no 458-37-7- used as a complexometric indicator for boron. It reacts with boric acid to form a red-colored compound, rosocyanine.
