The study found that S,S-dimethyl-β-propionate thiating (DMAT) is the strongest olfactory nerve stimulant, and has different effects on the growth and feeding of a variety of marine and freshwater fish and long-armed shrimp. To promote the degree of promotion, enhance the resistance of fish to adverse environment, adding low concentration of S,S-dimethyl-β-propionate thietine in the compound feed can improve the utilization rate of the bait.
