| Uses | Chloroiodomethane is used as an intermediate in pharmaceuticals, organic synthesis, agrochemicals and dyestuff. It is also useful in cyclopropanation (Simmon-Smith reaction), Mannich reaction, aminomethylation and in epoxidation. |
