Bifida cterium longum, lysate is the active ingredient in Bifidobacterium bifidum, which is known to brighten skin tone, soothe skin irritation and reduce wrinkles. It is widely used in cosmetic formulations such as face/eye serums and creams. It is also highly safe and generally has no effect on pregnant women and does not cause acne.

Bifidobacterium longum, lysate is a new ingredient for reactive skin. It has strong anti-immunosuppressive activity, i.e. it promotes DNA repair and protects the skin from UV-induced damage. It is used in emulsified water-based and hydroalcoholic systems for skin care, sunscreens and after-sun care products, and it helps to prevent photo-ageing of the epidermis and dermis.
