Physical properties: White fine powder. Dissolved in dimethyl sulfoxide, concentrated ammonia water, and liquid alkali. Insoluble in acetone, chlorinated hydrocarbons, alcohols, petroleum ethers, toluene, and water. The decomposition temperature in air is 220 ℃, and in plastic it is 210-220 ℃. The gas generation capacity is about 140-150ml/g, which is twice that of AC foaming agent. The released gases are mainly nitrogen and carbon dioxide (2:1). The solid residues after decomposition are mainly p-phenyldisulfide and ammonium benzenesulfonate. The former is soluble in benzene, while the latter is soluble in water. This product has a high decomposition temperature and good stability.
Usage: This product is a high-temperature foaming agent with similar performance to foaming agent RA, and can be used interchangeably depending on the price and cost of the product. It is particularly suitable for plastics processed at high temperatures, and is used as a synthetic rubber foaming agent for rigid polyvinyl chloride, high-density polyethylene, polypropylene, polycarbonate, nylon, ABS, natural rubber, butadiene styrene rubber, etc. This product has good processing safety and no risk of premature foaming. Adding certain surfactants ZBS/ZTS can lower the decomposition temperature, making it suitable for low-temperature foaming products. By compounding with ADC foaming agent, a decomposition temperature of 120-190 ℃ AC/BSS composite foaming agent can be prepared, which can promote ADC foaming and increase gas generation. The decomposition product is colorless and can be mixed with baking soda to prepare a high gas generation heat balanced white hair foaming agent. It is widely used in foaming of slippers, shoe soles, insoles, plastic wallpapers, ceilings, PVC floor leather, artificial leather, insulation, sound insulation materials, and other materials.
Storage: The product is a regular product and should be stored in a dry and ventilated place. Short term storage allows for a high temperature of 50 ℃. The product is stable at indoor temperatures and should not be placed near open flames or heat sources. Avoid direct sunlight.
