A light and thermal stabilizer used to prevent yellowing and degradation in synthetic polymers.

Function:

It acts as an anti-yellowing agent by scavenging free radicals and inhibiting the oxidative degradation process caused by heat and ultraviolet (UV) light exposure.

Key Applications:

Plastics Industry: Extensively used in polymers like Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU), rigid and flexible Polyurethane (PU) foams, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), and Polyamide (Nylon).

Synthetic Fibers: Particularly effective in protecting Spandex (Lycra) and other fibers from yellowing during high-temperature processing and upon exposure to light.
