Zinc sulphate Chemical formula ZnSO4, colorless or white crystal, particle or powder, odorless. Melting point is 100ºC, taste astringent. The density was 1.957g/cm3 (25ºC). Soluble in water, aqueous solution is acidic, slightly soluble in ethanol and glycerin.

Application
Zinc sulfate is mainly used as a raw material for pigment Lithopone, zinc barium white and other zinc compounds. Also used as animal zinc deficiency nutrition, animal feed additives, crop zinc fertilizer (trace element fertilizer), artificial fiber important material, electrolytic production of metal zinc electrolyte, textile industry in the mordant, pharmaceutical emetic, astringent, fungicide, wood and leather preservatives.
