1,3, 5-triacetylenyl benzene was prepared from 1,3, 5-tribromobenzene and 2-methyl-3-butyne-2-alcohol.Then 4-trimethylsilicone-acetylene-iodine benzene was prepared from p-iodoaniline and trimethylsilicone-acetylene by diazotization and halogenation.The latter was reacted with 1,3, 5-triacetylenebenzene by Sonogashira, and then lysed to protect the reaction to produce compound 1,3, 5-triacetylene [(4' -acetylenyl phenyl) acetylenyl] benzene.
