Methyl methacrylate is a colorless liquid, volatile and flammable. Melting point - 48 ℃, boiling point of 100-101 ℃, 24 ℃ (4.3 kPa), relative density 0.9440 (20/4 ℃), the refractive index of 1.4142, flash point (cup) 10 ℃, vapor pressure (25.5 ℃) 25.5 kPa. Soluble in ethanol, ether, acetone and other organic solvents, slightly soluble in ethylene glycol and water. Polymerization is easy in the presence of light, heat, ionizing radiation and catalyst.
