Chatacteristics:

Physical natures:
a. Properties: white crystalline powder, aromatic slightly phenolic odour.
b. Solubility: could be slightly dissolved in water , medium solubility in dilute alkali solution, easily dissolved in organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone etc. It can be made transparent highly condensed liquid products after dissoving in surfactants.
Safety nature:
Triclosan can co-exist well with human skins. Long-term and wide animal toxicological experiments also prove that using Triclosan in the advised application scope and amount limits can reach international toxicity standard for chemical products .It is a preferable safe and high performance broad spectrum antiseptic agent in the world of today.

LD50(small mouse take orally in)= 3815mg/kg. Experiment of irritation : 1%,5% or 10% diluted Triclosan was applied on the molt area of guinea pig, that shows Triclosan has no allergy to guinea pig's skin.
Antiseptic natures:
Triclosan is a kind of high performance broad spectrum antiseptic which can kill or inhibit gram-positive and gram-negative bacterium, yeast and virus etc.
Applications:
Triclosan are widely used in high-performance medicated soap and sanitary perfumed soap, sanitary washing lotion, tragomaschalia and berimisty deodorizer, sterile hands washing lotion, misty disinfectant for wounds, disinfectant for medical apparatus and instruments, sanitary washing facial milk and cream ,air refresher and deodorizer for refrigerator etc, and it can also be used in sorting sanitary textiles and antiseptic treating for plastics. Higher-purity Triclosan are also widely used in therapeutic toothpaste and gargle. We suggest to use 0.05%-0.3% density Triclosan solution.
