Pacific Scientific designs, develops, and manufactures safety equipment under contract to various airplane and
subsystem manufacturers. Our continued supply of components, product support services and maintenance data are
requirements under various terms of those contracts.
Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM’s) have been prepared and are available for use by qualified parties.
Manuals are in ATA format and describe the process for the safe repair and overhaul of Pacific Scientific products by
trained technicians when using the prescribed tooling and equipment. Pacific Scientific is obligated by contract to
supply CMM data to aircraft operators. Additional limited distribution is made to authorized service representatives.
Data contained within the Manuals is considered intellectual property of Pacific Scientific and must be used in
accordance with the legends contained in the manuals.
A limited license to use Component Maintenance Manual data is made available to all other users for the standard
price of $5,000 for each CMM. Each manual supplement is priced at $2,250. Manuals and supplements are available
in electronic or paper format and by agreement will be current and covered by revision service for one year from the
date of purchase. All tooling described in Pacific Scientific maintenance documentation is available for sale.
