Characteristics
Rubber accelerator TE is white powder, soluble in benzene, chloroform, slightly soluble in ethanol, and insoluble in water. The relative density is 1.33 and melting point 174℃. It is tasteless, and has storage stability, not moisture absorption.
Applications
It is used as vulcanizator for NR or alkadiene rubber, results in little or no blooming, and produces delayed action. Compared with TMTD and TETD, TE is low efficiency and long scorch time. It is also vulcanizator of non-sulfur or low sulfur vulcanization system. The rubber compounds scorch phenomenon disappears if adding TE into vulcanization system instead of TMTD. The products containing TE have long life, excellent properties and anti-thermal ageing. It is used in articles in contact with food, and applicable for NBR.
Packaging Coextruded paper bags lined with plastic film, net weight 25Kg/bag.
Storage Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from sunlight.
Safety and toxicity Refer to the MSDS.
