、Chemical Name: Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate
、Molecular Formula: MgSO4·7H2O
、Molecular Weight: 246.47
、CAS: 10034-99-8
、Character: Heptahydrate is colorless prismatic or needle-shaped crystal. Anhydrous is white crystalline powder or powder. It’s odorless, tastes bitter and salty. It is freely soluble in water (119.8%, 20℃) and glycerin, slightly soluble in ethanol. The aqueous solution is neutral.
、Usage: In food industry, it is used as nutritional fortifier (Magnesium fortifier), solidification, flavor agent, process aid and brew additive. It is used as nutritional source to improve ferment and the taste of synthesizes saka(0.002%). It also could modify water hardness.
、Packing: It is packed with polyethylene bag as inner layer, and a compound plastic woven bag as outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.
、Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse, kept away from heat and moisture during transportation, unloaded with care so as to avoid damage. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.
