About ChangFu Cyano Silanes
When a highly polar cyano group is introduced into an organic group, it can cause significant changes in the physical and chemical properties of the corresponding organic silane, namely cyano silane. ChangFu Chemical supplies high purity cyano silanes with lower impurities.
The main application of cyano silanes is to modify silica gel fillers in chromatography. Cyano columns can be used in both reversed phase and normal phase chromatography. In reversed phase, they offer different selectivity compared to C18 or C8 phases. In normal phase, they are less retentive than silica columns. In addition, these cyano silanes can not only utilize the reactivity of CN groups to produce other carbon functional organic silanes, but also the polysiloxanes and silicone rubbers made from them have high dielectric constants, good cream, solvent resistance, and adhesive properties.
