Gitogenin is one of the chemical components of hostan flower. There are experiments to study the chemical composition of hosta flower, which provides scientific basis for the quality control of Hosta flower, clinical rational drug use in Mongolian medicine and further development and utilization. The solvent method was used to extract and extract the parts. The antibacterial activity of each part against common strains was studied by the tube and dish method, and the active parts were screened. (25R)-5ALPHA-SPIROSTAN-2ALPHA,3BETA-DIOL were systematically separated by solvent method and a variety of modern chromatographic techniques (silica gel, SephadexLH-20, RP-18, HP-20 macroporous adsorption resin, etc.). The structures of the compounds were identified by physical and chemical identification and modern spectral analysis techniques (MS, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, DEPT, 1H-1HCOSY, HSQC, HMBC, etc. 2DNMR). Gitogenin, a natural steroid isolated from the entire Tribuluslongipetalus strain, is a selective inhibitor of UDp-glucuronidase 1A4(UGT1A4) and alpha-glucosidase. Its IC50 values were 0.69µM(using trifluoperazine as a substrate) and 37.2 µm, respectively, and did not inhibit the activity of the major human cytochrome P450 subtype.
