Applications

Antioxidant 697 is used as an antioxidant and metal deactivator for polymer materials. When used in polymer materials, 697 can significantly reduce the oxidative degradation of materials during processing and use and inhibit the catalytic effect of metal ions. 697 is an excellent stabilizer for wire and cable insulation materials, automotive materials and various polymer material products. 697 is particularly suitable for polyolefins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, etc.; 697 can also be used for polyester, polyamide, polyvinyl acetate, polyurethane, ABS resin, PVC resin, etc. 697 has the characteristics of low volatility and does not color the product. 697 is usually used in combination with hindered phenol main antioxidants to produce good synergistic effects.
