1,6-Hexanediamine Usage
Used as raw material for nylon 66, polyurethane foam and epoxy resin curing agent
Uses This product is mostly used to synthesize nylon 66 and 610 resins, also used to synthesize polyurethane resins, ion exchange resins and hexylene diisocyanates, as well as curing agents for urea-formaldehyde resins, epoxy resins, etc., organic crosslinking agents, etc. It is also used as stabilizer and bleaching agent in textile and paper industry, corrosion inhibitor for aluminum alloy and emulsifier for neoprene. Hexanediamine and hydrochloric acid form a salt below 28°C to obtain 1,6-hexamethylenediamine hydrochloride ([6055-52-3]), which can be used to produce bactericide chlorhexidine acetate. Diamine also has some applications in the production of adhesives, aviation coatings and rubber vulcanization accelerators.
Uses: Used in organic synthesis and polymerization of polymer compounds. Mainly used in the production of polyamides, such as nylon 66, nylon 610, etc.; also used in the synthesis of diisocyanates; and used as curing agents for urea-formaldehyde resins, epoxy resins, etc. Coupling agent and so on. Hexanediamine can be produced from adiponitrile, hexanediol, and caprolactam, but almost all methods for large-scale production of hexamethylenediamine start from adiponitrile.
Use organic synthesis, nylon 66 intermediate.
